Philly foodies and festival fans, get your taste buds ready because Night Market Philadelphia, one of the premier street food festivals in the city, kicks off its much-anticipated 2014 festival season this Thursday.
Up first, Night Market Old City lands in the ever-popular neighborhood of Old City. Make sure you bring your appetite to try tons of delicious street eats ranging from Philly’s best ethnic foods to regional restaurants to the city’s many food trucks—over 85 restaurants and trucks and counting. While you eat, check out top-notch galleries and boutiques, and catch area artists, musicians, and more!
Since the first Night Market took place on East Passyunk in 2010, The Food Trust has hosted 12 traveling Night Markets with over 200,000 attendees, over 300 food trucks, and in neighborhoods ranging all across the city.
You can be sure that some Old City favorites will be in attendance this Thursday like Panorama, Han Dynasty, Serrano, Continental, The Franklin Fountain and Amada.
No matter if you want to eat and run or eat and chill, taking in all the best culture, the incredible food scene, and all the historic scenery the city has to offer, this year’s Night Markets are some of the biggest and best, must-see, must-hit festivals.
The Night Markets will continue on to West Oak Lane June 19, Lancaster at 35th on August 21, and will close out its season in Chinatown on October 2. Be sure to mark your calendars.
